Tableau License is usually granted in '2' to '3' business days once the developer submits Tableau LARF with all required information and is approved by their manager.
2. Do we need to download and install Tableau software on our machines?
No need to download and install Tableau software on your local machines.
Tableau Desktop and Tableau Prep applications are hosted on Tableau Citrix Environment. Once you obtain a license, these applications can be accessed using standard web browsers like Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer etc. For more information, refer Step 5
3. What is the cost of Enterprise Tableau Developer License?
Tableau Developer License costs $504 per year, which includes access to Tableau Server.
4. How do you chargeback license fee from the department?
The chargeback happens on yearly basis and will be applied to the SpeedType or Chartstring provided by the Developer in the Tableau LARF
5. How do we know the SpeedType or Chartstring of our department?
Contact your reporting manager to get these details.
6. My department owns a Tableau Desktop/Creator License. Can we convert it to Enterprise Tableau Developer License?

7. Can we install and setup Tableau Desktop or Tableau Prep applications in local machine with Enterprise Tableau Developer License?
No, you can't. These applications are only accessible from the Tableau Citrix Environment
8. Does it cost to obtain Tableau Interactor or Viewer access on Tableau Server?
Tableau Interactor and Viewer access is free of cost.
